Led the integration of gender mainstreaming principles across programs to promote equality and inclusivity in service delivery. Developed and supported the implementation of comprehensive Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention strategies that emphasized survivor-centered approaches and community engagement. Provided capacity-building workshops for staff and partners to strengthen understanding of gender dynamics and effective GBV prevention measures.
This work contributed to broader organizational efforts to institutionalize gender equality and protection within policy and practice. AVC facilitated participatory strategy development processes, ensuring alignment with national frameworks and international standards. The resulting GBV prevention strategy included targeted interventions, monitoring indicators, and community-based awareness campaigns to reduce risks and improve survivor support.
