Project details:
Conducted targeted community trainings on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and core protection principles, engaging a wide range of stakeholders including community leaders, women’s groups, youth, and frontline service providers. The trainings aimed to improve knowledge, shift attitudes, and strengthen local prevention and response capacities. Played a central role in developing and operationalizing GBV referral pathways to ensure survivors could access timely, coordinated support across health, legal, and psychosocial services. Additionally, supported internal organizational capacity building through guidance on case management, survivor safety, and ethical standards.
These efforts were embedded in a wider governance reform initiative implemented in collaboration with a regional authority, aiming to enhance transparency, accountability, and citizen engagement. Participated in institutional assessments, multi-stakeholder dialogues, and policy workshops that shaped a five-year reform roadmap. This roadmap included civil service performance frameworks, administrative restructuring, citizen feedback mechanisms, and inclusive participation strategies—contributing to more responsive institutions and improved public trust.
